Statement
This is an invitation to a variant within my world.
Amidst abstractions, thematic, and realism
my world of oil paintings traces ideologies and history.
I indulge in the simplicity of abstractions to capture color
and texture and communicate a moment's feeling.
I use a critical brush when my senses can't stand the beauty of reality.
Yet at times these aspects of my painting are dimmed
by the conscience. The subconscious emerges
to impute the mind with consequence
based on a painful history yet triumphant thematic.
History
Suzzette Solano spent hours painting and sketching the world
she saw as a small child. Her parents sought
Spanish Master Luis Heredia to teach her classical fine art
at the age of eight.
Ever since her paintings and art has been commissioned,
sold and donated to private collectors,
educational institutions and corporations.
Currently she lives in Florida where she has increased her
passion for painting to a new level, exploring
the true nature of her art.
